So, here’s to starting a blog and a new business. I’ve always wanted to have a project of my own and operate under my own rules. Cheers to new beginnings!

I am creating this blog to serve as a log of my personal progress and also to maybe inspire others to take a leap into the world of lampworking.

In this space I plan to blog around tips, techniques and successes. This might be a new bead I have created, or simply a technique I have struggled with but found a way to overcome. Hopefully it will be inspiring for me and for anyone who decides to read.

I would love to connect with other Lampwork artists, jewellery makers and curious art lovers.

• If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

I’m planning to continue this blog through the rest of this year. By then I hope to have accomplished a few more sales on Etsy, a wider audience on Pinterest and Instagram and be one step closer to making this work for me full-time.
